One of the best states in the USA isn’t a state - it’s a commonwealth! Judge Lori Dumas is a native Pennsylvanian with strong community ties and a passion for her state.
A History Like No Other
Admitted to the Union in 1787, Pennsylvania is rich in American history. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was one of the original 13 colonies, the home to the First and Second Continental Congresses, and where both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were signed.
Modern Diversity & Opportunities
More recently, Pennsylvania is known for its strong industry, tech startups, and major corporations. It’s affordable, geography-diverse, and filled with high-profile universities.
With a rich history of immigrants, progressive Quaker foundations, and blue-collar industrial values, Pennsylvania is a multi-faceted survey of America’s past and a hotbed of exciting new opportunities. This is the Pennsylvania Judge Dumas will represent as part of the Commonwealth Court!
But we can’t talk about PA without talking about the people. Whether you're from the Pennsylvania Dutch or you’re PA-born Will Smith, there’s a special quality to the people from this state. We helped found this country and we’re taking it to new heights every day.
Judge Dumas and her fellow PA-natives love their Steelers, Eagles, cheesesteaks, scrapple, whoopie pies, and family values. We’re based in tradition, but able to try out new things. Though this is one of the most densely-populated states, we’re a small town kind of people.
We Pennsylvanians and the Commonwealth itself deserve the right kind of judicial representation. The future of our state depends on its institutions, and courts matter for everyday individuals and businesses.
Judge Dumas is the community-minded and well-rounded judge we need sitting on the Commonwealth Court bench. With her balanced rulings, we’ll continue to raise PA to greater heights each day!
